Izzy (Owner/Operator - ECE)

Izzy was born in Germany, and immigrated to BC when she was 13 years old. Two years later, she started working as a nanny, and got her Early Childhood Education Assistant License in 2010. Since then, she has worked in a variety of different child care facilities and joined the center in 2014! In November of 2016, Izzy became the new Owner/Operator of the Center, and she is enjoying this new adventure! Izzy has been busy working towards her ECE, and she received her ECE Certification in 2019. When there is some free time, Izzy likes to hang out with her dogs and family, and enjoy the refreshing waters of the Lake!

Susanne (RA)

Susanne is originally from Germany, and we met her when she moved with her husband and 2 daughters to Blind Bay. When she learned of the Child Care Staff shortage, she decided to get her Responsible Adult Certification. Susanne now runs the School Age Program, and we are happy to have her on board!

Nikki (ECEA)

We first met Nikki in 2017 when her youngest daughter Ava started attending the daycare. Nikki has always enjoyed spending time with children, so she decided to go for her ECE. She received her Assistant Certificate in 2019, and comes to help out when needed. We are excited for Nikki to join our team, and we look forward to all the new fun that she will bring into the daycare!

Karren(ECEA/RA)

Karren is originally from Alberta, and she is the proud Mother to a daughter and a son, as well as 3 Grandchildren. In 1989, Karren completed the Early Childhood Education Program in Alberta. Our beautiful province of BC convinced Karren to move here in 1999, and she has been a great addition to the community. In 2012, Karren graduated the Care Aide program with honours, and then started her own business helping Seniors in need. In 2014, Karren joined the daycare team, and enjoys spending time with all the children wherever help is needed. When she is not busy working at the daycare or at her other job, some of the hobbies that Karren enjoys include Free Lance Writing, Horseback riding, Swimming, and Photography.
